I'm curious as to what mastering plugin you are using on your Youtube/guitar audio in post production.
solid music, but not a lot of people know about them or give them any credit it seems like. I think this band kinda falls into that category. I especially like taking pop songs or songs from bands a lot of people turn their nose up at to cover. So, Basically, I've been voicing a few different amp sims on the 11R to sound like his, And right off the bat you have to put a Tube Screamer or White Boost in front of it to drive it more. The tricky part is getting the preset to sound like his, Because his Marshall doesn't exactly sound like one particular Marshall amp in general, From what I understand its a mix between the Jubilee, JCM800/Previous Slash Signature and some characteristics of the Plexi. The one I used here is called "AFD100" which is my medium-high gain AFD100 preset, which of course is voiced after Slash's new signature AFD100 amplifier. (I leave it between 7-8 so it rolls off some of the treble and makes it Sweet Child O' Mine-ish)Īs far as the 11R goes, I've been messing around the past week with my "AFD100" presets. I have my Les Paul set to have the volume on the neck really low (1-2) and the tone knob is between 7-8.
